I understand that Delegate Johnny Joannou (D-79th) is going to be facing a challenger this year for his seat. The person mentioned is a fellow Democrat who lives in Norfolk.

I started this blog to talk about local politics, specifically Norfolk politics. It is impossible
to talk about Norfolk in a vacuum, so you'll also find some regional, state, and national politics. And sometimes, no politics at all.

It’s about time. Thanks for the good news Vivian.
It shouldn’t be difficult to find a progressive democrat to replace Joannou…and Joannou should be deposed of….He would be more appropriate representing some place like Transylvania (he resembles Count Dracula don’t you think?) Joannou does not represent the present nor the future.
I, for one, will be happy to see Joannou replaced.
