WELCOME
I started this blog to talk about local politics, specifically Norfolk politics. It is impossible
to talk about Norfolk in a vacuum, so you'll also find some regional, state, and national politics. And sometimes, no politics at all.
The inspiration for this blog comes from one of Virginia's most respected forefathers:

A horrible idea. Perhaps an understandable tactic, close to election day, but a horrible horrible general rule. Maxims like that bring us republic-threatening failures like George W. Bush.
What is annoying about this is that Ronald Reagan was the biggest violator of that. His challenge of Gerald Ford is about as negative as it gets.
