The latest in the Democratic debate series takes center stage tonight at the Citadel in South Carolina. The event will be broadcast live on CNN at 7pm. According to this story, what we’ll see tonight is a lineup that puts the top tier candidates in the middle while the lesser candidates are placed on the outside.
As they did at the June 3 debate in Manchester, N.H., Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton and Sen. Barack Obama will have the center podiums, flanked by former Sen. John Edwards and New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson. Sen. Chris Dodd (D-Conn.) will be next to Edwards, and Sen. Joe Biden (D-Del.) will be next to Richardson. At the ends: Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio) and former Sen. Mike Gravel (D-Alaska).
I can’t wait to see Dodd’s Talk Clock tomorrow
Hopefully, Wolf “The Mouth” Blitzer won’t be moderating…

Posted by vjp | Monday, July 23, 2007, 4:28 pmOh God, no. I don’t need my debate experience to be encapsulated within Andy Coop’s emotional voyage from confusion to compassion, anger and ultimately acceptance and resolution.

Posted by virginiadem | Monday, July 23, 2007, 8:40 pmI’ve been watching the debate. It seems that only Edwards and Richards can make a tie knot that is not lopsided. Even Cooper can’t get it straight.
