Theme change

Yeah, no header. And no tagline, either. But when WordPress.com released this new theme late Wednesday evening, I had to give it a go.

Let me know what you think.

Oh yeah – Happy Thanksgiving :)

  1. I think I prefer the old style. This one is too plain and tried to look like a newspaper too much I think…
But then again, that is just my take

  2. Nice, clean layout. Very slick.

  3. I really like it, much easier to read. The sidebar on the right with the bold headings make locating info much faster.

  4. I do like this better than the old one. You need a little color, though. Not much. Change the color of the links, for example. And add some personality to the font you use for the headings. Either the color or the font, or both. Consider a color and font combination to use for headings and links that you stay with, no matter what theme you switch to.

  5. blewsdawg – I’ve been working with the folks here at WP.com and, for the most part, what you see is what I’m going to get :( I’m thinking of getting the CSS upgrade and working on just those things you mention but I’m no CSS expert, so I’ll have to work on it when I have some free time (ha!)
