Forgit on TV!

Philip Forgit, Democratic candidate in the 1st Congressional district, is on TV in the final days of the campaign. I saw his ad for the first time yesterday – on broadcast TV during a football game!

Congressman Bobby Scott issued this statement on Forgit:

Philip Forgit is the kind of leader we need in Virginia–a man who has served his country as a public school teacher and a Naval Reservist. I have given my full support to Philip’s campaign from the start because he has a better opportunity to win this district than any Democrat in decades. But he needs every Democratic vote to succeed. We need Philip’s voice in Washington to bring our troops home from Iraq and to give our students the support they need to succeed.

And don’t forget that Mark Warner is doing a GOTV rally this afternoon at 2pm at the Newport News campaign HQ (2 Hidenwood Shopping Center). After the rally, you can participate in a GOTV lit drop and/or GOTV phonebanking.

UPDATE: I completely missed the poll on PilotOnline. (All the way down at the bottom on the left side.) Head on over and vote ;)

UPDATE2 : VNS endorsed Forgit today.

Vote for Democrat Phil Forgit: At least he’s opposed to HB3202 and unelected, unaccountable government and supports lower taxes.

About Vivian J. Paige

A former candidate, I've learned a lot about politics, both good and bad. I'd prefer more of the former and a lot less of the latter and I'm trying to do my part!
