Live blogging the Forgit rally with Warner

Lots of folks here. Mark Warner just walked in. Good to see DPVA folks here as well as Ds from all over the region.

About Vivian J. Paige

A former candidate, I've learned a lot about politics, both good and bad. I'd prefer more of the former and a lot less of the latter and I'm trying to do my part!

  2. VBDC chair Ollie Bates stopped by:

“We are looking forward to having Philip Forgit in Congress. His background as a professional educator and a Naval Reservist, having served in Iraq, will make him the perfect representative for our times.”

  3. Amy Reger:

“The entire DPVA staff has been helping out Philip. Greg Scalon, Dave Mills, Danae Jones, Lavar Stoney ~ we’re all trying to help Philip win.”

  4. Governor Mark Warner stopped by:

“This race is going to shock not only the conventional political wisdom in VA but across the country. Because Philip Forgit brings the right agenda and the right background to face 2 of our most critical problems: America’s standing in the world and how we remain competitive in the global marketplace.”

  5. What a dynamic event. I am so impressed with Phil Forgit, his natural speaking style, his caring attitude.
He wants us to honor or troops and bring them home. Bring them home and take care of them.
He hit the right note each time.
    He just may win.
There was a ton of people there. Pictures will be up soon.
    Thanks Viv for being there!!

  6. Thanks, V. Liveblogging is a lot of work, and we appreciate it.

(Plus, now I know that if I’m ever at an event that you might be at, I can scan for the dorks with the open laptops. Besides Kenton. :) )

  8. Vivian, you’re an accountant. Do not act like this is the first time in your life someone has told you you’re a dork. ;)
