Photosynthesis at Richmond Sunlight

Waldo has put together a personalized bill tracking system for Richmond Sunlight called Photosynthesis. I just went over and put in all of the bills I mentioned in my legislative agenda series. You can see my list here.

Way cool, Waldo. Way cool ;)

Oh – and you can follow your bills in your favorite RSS reader, too.

  1. Thanks, Vivian! I hope to put together some tools to make it easy to automagically list those bills in the sidebar of a blog — like “My Legislative Agenda,” in your sidebar now. I’m glad you signed up. :)

  2. I tried using the RSS feed in my sidebar but it was TMI :( Looking forward to the tools ;)

In the meantime, you gave me an idea: I’ve added a link to my portfolio in the sidebar.

  4. Yes, outstanding work here Waldo! I too plan to put a list on the sidebar at VB Dems.

Not to add to your list of to-do’s, but you need a square Richmond Sunlight button. I’ll take a stab at it if you’d like. Thanks again!

  5. mosquito – every time you post, your comments are ending up in my spam filter. Not sure what the problem is but perhaps you want to give a shot at logging in to your WordPress account first?

  6. Sorry about the TMI, Vivian. :) I’m not sure of how to best go about striking the balance between enough information to be useful to people (who may not understand what they’re looking at otherwise) but little enough that it doesn’t use up an entire sidebar. :) I think I’m going to output the entire contents of each portfolio, but give subscribers the option to scale back how much information is provided. But how to best do that, I’m not sure…
