Look at the van closesly….it’s four concrete squares wide, (not counting mirrors). The distance between the newly installed posts is just over 3 concrete squares wide.

I think they loaded up the van with their gear, looking forward to a couple of cold ones after a hard day’s work, fired that baby up, looked around and said something very, very unacceptable in polite company. I mean, it’s pretty obvious that the van isn’t going to fit.

Well if the van can fit between the posts, it defeats the purpose of their installing the damn things in the first place. I showed this photo to my husband and he said it reminded him of a time very early in his career when he built walls for a second floor before bringing up all the big bathroom tubs and shower stalls.

I agree with MB on the Eurostyling…

As for the “width” of the van versus the spaces on the poles… I wouldn’t bet it would fit. Take into consideration a 2 dimensional photograph at an unknown distance with an unknown lens? Can be very deceptive.

It does seem as though they have “painted” themselves into a pickle…

Well, since we’re being humourless, I’ll point out that no way is that in Oklahoma. Very euro signs and safety jackets.

However, Oklahoma did elect Tom Coburn, so I’d expect them to be completely capable of something like this.

It looks like new concrete in the squares in which the posts are embedded, but the lines between the squares are still visible.

the freshly poured concrete doesn’t have anything to do with the spacing of the posts and the width of the van. They can put a piece of plywood down between the posts and drive over them. It does look kind of funny however!

Measure the width of the van and the spacing of the posts. The van will just fit between them.
