Things to do Saturday: football and politics

The Washington Redskins (9-7) take on the Seattle Seahawks (10-6) at 4:30pm EST on NBC. The Redskins are riding a 4-game winning streak while the Seahawks suffered an embarrassing 44-41 loss to the 4-12 Atlanta Falcons.

Needless to say, I’m picking the ‘Skins ;)

And then it’s evening entertainment as both the Republicans and the Democrats participate in a debate in New Hampshire. The Republicans go first, kicking off the festivities at 7pm. Each debate is scheduled to last 90 minutes.

About Vivian J. Paige

A former candidate, I've learned a lot about politics, both good and bad. I'd prefer more of the former and a lot less of the latter and I'm trying to do my part!

  2. Sorry to break up the Redskins party here (actually I’m not), but enjoy the game because it’ll be the last one for the “skins.” My Dallas Cowboys are going to the Super Bowl….

  4. Dang — 22 fourth-quarter points. That hurt.

  5. Yes, it did. Oh well. The Redskins had a pretty good run at the end of the season. Hopefully, it is something that the team can build on next season.
