Romney out

RomneyMitt Romney is out of the race.

I always thought Romney was a weak candidate, in that his positions had “matured” over time (read: flip flopped). I mean – this is a guy who ran to the left of Ted Kennedy! I didn’t think there was any room to the left of Ted ;)

But hey, gotta admit the guy looked like a president.

About Vivian J. Paige

A former candidate, I've learned a lot about politics, both good and bad. I'd prefer more of the former and a lot less of the latter and I'm trying to do my part!

  1. I watched Gov. Romney’s CPAC speech – it was pretty darn good. He seemed much less robotic than normal. If had talking like that for the last year….

Republicans have bit more hope for the fall with Romney bowing out gracefully.

  2. Hmm – I got a call that someone was on the radio saying that they were a Romney supporter with no where to go and that they intended to follow the lead of Ann Coulter and vote for Hillary!

  3. Weak candidate for the present GOP environment, perhaps, but I think he was far and away the most qualified Republican capable of not running this country further into the ground. Which explains, of course, why he was run out of town.
