PA primary day

Got some time today? Help out the Hillary campaign by making phone calls to PA voters.

After the polls close, join the Norfolk City Democratic Committee and the Tidewater Young Democrats for a Results Watch Party at The New Belmont. Food and drinks are your responsibility, but you can’t beat the company ;)

About Vivian J. Paige

A former candidate, I've learned a lot about politics, both good and bad. I'd prefer more of the former and a lot less of the latter and I'm trying to do my part!

  3. loomis – if you knew how to put your blog address into your profile, there would be no need to spam other blogs with your address, which I have removed.

Your comments are not amusing, btw. We tend to have reasonable discussions here.

  5. Big event of the night Terry Macauliff says on national TV that the pledged delegate race is over. Hillary cannot win the pledged delegates which many people have been saying by simply adding the math. Sad note tonight is that 63 % of Hillary voters will not vote for a democrat if Obama is that Democrat. that is not a true Democrat. I would have no problem voting for Hillary Clinton if she can now manage to get 75 % of the remaining superdelegates to committ to her, in fact I wolud consider that a stroke of genius. Hey viv was my buddy at the party, specifically Newport News Dem. He said he might cruise over there.

  6. There is no way in heck that 63% number is true. I have heard Democrats say they won’t vote for Obama–some of them are surprising people–but 2 out of every 3? Be serious. Hillary’s voting bloc tonight was made up of the textbook definition of likely Democratic voters: older, blue collar folks. Does anyone actually believe that out of the 1.2 million regular Democratic voters who voted for Gore and Kerry before they voted for Clinton in Penn tonight, 800,000 of them are completely unwilling to turn out and vote if Obama is the nominee?

Folks are taking this too personally and it’s making them believe crazy things.

  7. “Folks are taking this too personally and it’s making them believe crazy things.”

And it is making them SAY crazy things, like they will not vote for their party’s candidate. (It’s not just the Democrats, either.) The question is, will it make them DO crazy things?
