		<description><![CDATA[Rick - it seems that trackbacks work a bit differently from just a link, or perhaps it is that different platforms send different information. Yours, for example, sends a snippet of the post while the links I get from the blogger alliance (see &lt;a href=&quot;http://blog.vivianpaige.com/wp-political-blogger-alliance/&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;here&lt;/a&gt;) are totally different. They both post a link in the comments.

Oh - and I think the NEA may be a big dog in other states, but not in VA. (Interestingly enough, I had a similar conversation about this a long time ago with a friend of mine. She was convinced that the unions tied the hands of folks until we were both at a presentation by the local school board. When the question came up about whether the union prevented them from doing certain things, the board said no. Unions really don&#039;t have the same powers in VA as they do elsewhere.)]]></description>
