Metropolitan’s new facility

Del. Kenny Alexander (D-89th) has completed a $2 million facility – no government money in this one – in Berkley which will not only be a funeral home but will double as an emergency shelter.

In conjunction with the opening, a couple of events are planned. This afternoon at 4pm there will be a ribbon cutting with Governor Tim Kaine. A reception will immediately follow. On Sunday, April 27, there will be an open house from 2pm to 6pm with a dedication service at 3pm.

The 16,000 square foot facility is located at 120 W. Berkley Ave.

About Vivian J. Paige

A former candidate, I've learned a lot about politics, both good and bad. I'd prefer more of the former and a lot less of the latter and I'm trying to do my part!
