This is just totally stupid, in my opinion, and I’m embarrassed – yes, embarrassed – that supposedly intelligent and irrational beings saw Hillary’s remark as an attempt to insinuate that Obama would be assassinated or anything of the sort.

I am no Hillary fan (I favor no candidate, but Obama’s personal choices in who he hangs out with and who he looks up to as mentors and role models scares me). In fact, I have intensely disliked the Clintons for a long time. However, this whole thing is obviously a media ploy to do everything possible to make Hillary look bad compared to Obama.

What happened to the media darling back in the day? Oh, she could do no wrong, she was the bright and shining star – oh, how thou has fallen, oh shining one…lol

Use your brains people – but that’s becoming more and more difficult as we consume the junk food presented to us by the media. Not only are we as a nation becoming fat and lazy physically, we are becoming inept at thinking for ourselves as well.

Obama is outraising McSame by something like 2:1.

That has nothing to do with I or anyone else thinks of Obama, it just is so.

The best thing we can do is let this thing play out. Let the voters decide.

I’m going to attempt to put myself on a self imposed blog/media blackout until the end of this month. It’s insane and meanwhile, great Democrats locally like Glenn Nye could use a hand!

This is just one more example of the pretzel factory of the likes of the orange stain, RK, air obama radio and obamermann on MSNBO to take what was said and twists it into something it is not. We all know by know how Bill and Geraldine are ranting racists. I have used the exact statement in the past in the exact context regarding the front loading of the process and the rush to end it.

The Argus Leader’s Executive Editor Randell Beck issued the following statement today:

“The context of the question and answer with Sen. Clinton was whether her continued candidacy jeopardized party unity this close to the Democratic convention. Her reference to Mr. Kennedy’s assassination appeared to focus on the time line of his primary candidacy and not the assassination itself.” The actual interview follows;

1) It was a mistake, in which case she has shown that she is too accident prone to run for president.

2) It was intentional (suggested by her prior use of similar wording) in which case she is morally unfit to be president.

Bobby Kennedy, Jr. doesn’t have any special power to hand out dispensation, nor was Bobby Kennedy the only public figure assassinated in 1968. I know it hurts to recognize this, but this gaffe will effectively end her campaign, whether she acknowledges that fact or not. The super delegates she has been counting on to rescue her will never support her now.

Bobby, Jr. also has “every right” to purport to speak for his family, or for all Democrats. Whether he actually does so, or whether he SHOULD do so, are also entirely separate questions. Like I said, check him out, please, before you quote him on anything.

Maybe a remedial math class would help.

As for Bobby, Jr., well, he’s Bobby, Jr. Go do some research on him.
