Memorial Bash quickie

I’ll try to get up a more comprehensive post later today, including some photos from the event. We had a good crowd of Democrats from throughout the region and I think the event went well. The weather was perfect!

And the fun part of the event – the straw poll – had interesting results. I say interesting because, while I’m not going to release the actual numbers, I honestly expected the vote to be close. It wasn’t. Brian Moran overwhelmingly won the gubernatorial straw poll.

Check back later for more thoughts.

About Vivian J. Paige

A former candidate, I've learned a lot about politics, both good and bad. I'd prefer more of the former and a lot less of the latter and I'm trying to do my part!

  1. Sorry I wasn’t able to make it … but you and your event were in my thoughts as I tried to catch up on spring yard work … wash and wax the car … make some visits following the new DNC neighbor-to-neighbor script … the weather was indeed “perfect” … now I’m looking forward to seeing pictures and reading more about the event

  4. What was the count?? How many of the members participated? What leadership has endorsed Brian?

  5. I’m not releasing the count. There is nothing to be gained from that. Not sure what you mean by “members.” As for the leadership’s endorsements, you’ll have to ask Brian’s people about that.
