Father’s Day 2008

Charles Thomas PaigeAnother Father’s Day is upon us, the 34th one without my own father. My best wishes to the fathers out there. And I hope that all the “kids” whose fathers are still with us take the time to spend some time with them.

A special Happy Father’s Day to my buddy, Brian. As attractive as this weekend’s festivities surrounding the state convention were, he decided that being at home today with his young children was more important to him than hanging out with the likes of me last night :) Hope you’re enjoying your day!

  1. Great post on your father. I, like you, no longer have my father with me, but I was lucky to have him with me for 43 years. I got all of my interest in politics from him. I wish all Dad’s a happy fathers day today, it is not easy being a parent, but they do grow up and take some of us along with them.
