OTR 6/22: transportation (again)

OTR LogoWith the General Assembly special session starting Monday, this Sunday’s On the Record will feature another discussion of transportation. Joining host Joel Rubin will be Delegates Ken Alexander (D-Norfolk), Tom Gear (R-Hampton), Glenn Oder (R-Newport News) and Senators Yvonne Miller (D-Norfolk) and Fred Quayle (R-Suffolk). The latter two serve on the Senate Finance Committee where all tax bills are heard.

Catch OTR at 11:30am on WVEC. If you miss the airing, it will be available on the website on Monday.

  1. I attended the last of Tim Kaine’s transportation town hall meetings Thursday in Fredericksburg. It was not a good sign that Speaker of the House, William J. “Bill” Howell was missing from an important forum hosted by the Governor in his district.

  2. Kaine’s transportation plan is DOA. I can only hope that something useful comes out of the special session.
