You just continue to live in your alternate right wing universe. Regular news organizations quotes energy traders and experts, the Energy Information Administration and the Chairman of the Fed and this is some left wing jihad against poor jimmy gilmore and his right wing ideologes.

Facts are not malleable to your prejudices and failed world view and they also will normally belie your positions, hence you make crap up. But hey, the sky really isn’t blue, it is red, I suppose.

This is the problem with debating Liberals… the only sources they care to listen to is MSM sources that favor who and what? Liberal politicians and Liberal ideology.

Case in point Waldo… he challenged us Gilmore bloggers to not debate the issues, but rather to find a MSM source that praised Jim Gilmore in 2002.

We all know what happens to Conservative politicians that implement tax cuts into law.. they are roundly criticized for destroying govt. Gov. Gilmore is a true Conservative… you should at least acknowledge that, and if you disagree with him, debate the policies…. not whether he was roundly criticzized by Liberal MSM outlets…

I’m sure Spanky would be an ardent supporter of reigning in oil speculating since he clearly believes the speculators aren’t even *functionally* retarded.

Sharply increased crude and gasoline supplies were the immediate cause of Wednesday’s decline.

The Energy Information Administration reported that U.S. crude oil supplies rose by 3 million barrels, or 1 percent, last week. That is the opposite of the 3 million barrel draw analysts surveyed by energy research firm Platts expected. Gasoline supplies also leapt unexpectedly.

“The numbers were decidedly bearish on just about all fronts,” Ritterbusch said.

Industry observers cautioned that prices could still bounce back, just as they have following large drops in recent weeks.

I could go on and on….The empty gesture by president jester had nothing to do with it. Demand is dropping due to high prices and prices are declining in response to lower demand.

This practice is the trademark of the right wing because facts belie their simpleton world view. The world is a kaleidoscope of greys, not just black and white as they would have you think.

Governor Gilmore was exactly right, just the threat of drilling off shore had the speculators dumping those $147 oil contracts….. yeah, and I think that is too funny!
