Warner picks up more endorsements

Former governor Mark Warner picked up some more endorsements today, this time from various sheriffs across the Old Dominion.

The endorsements came as the Virginia Sheriff’s Association held their conference today in Roanoke. The association itself does not endorse candidates.

Warner has held a commanding lead in the polls over his Republican rival, Jim Gilmore. The two will face off in a debate on Thursday.

A former candidate, I've learned a lot about politics, both good and bad. I'd prefer more of the former and a lot less of the latter and I'm trying to do my part!

  1. If he’d raised taxes to put money in my pocket, I’d endorse him, too.

  6. Shorter Brian Kerwin: I’ll just make all the insinuations I can now, because soon it won’t matter what I say.

  7. Mark: I disagree with the premise of your earlier statement, which implies that it could possibly matter now….
