Veterans for Mark Warner kickoff

Veterans from across Hampton Roads joined former Governor Mark Warner Thursday for the kickoff of a new group – Veterans for Mark Warner. Also in attendance were Senator Jim Webb, Congressman Bobby Scott, Norfolk Mayor Paul Fraim and Norfolk Sheriff Bob McCabe. The setting was the Lone Sailor Monument, which stands in the shadows of the battleship, the USS Wisconsin. Warner’s kickoff earlier this year was held on the other side of the ship, near the entrance to Nauticus.
