Certainly to the left of me — but B.O. is way left of W.

If B.O. is such as “liberal,” why does he oppose the people’s right to keep and bear arms? Why have his thugs gone after Joe the Plumber?

And Bush lied? Clinton lied under oath, and is the only President legitimately impeached! If Bush had Gen. Powell lie for him, then every intelligence service in the world was lying, too.

Powell was never a Republican. Bush appointed Powell because he was considered to be the best person for the job — not because he was a Republican.

I find it amusing that whenever you call a conservative on the true
definition of liberal…they want to change the word to leftist. Let’s
see leftist/socialist. That would make W. a leftist? Come on people
which is it? So many labels…so little time. Grow up and accept the
fact that a Black man will be our next president. He will be capable
and “God Forbid” will lead this nation back to moral principals and an
upstanding position in the world community. Eight years of lies and
plundering our treasury is long enough! You wonder why General Powell
abandoned his party and administration? Forgotten recent history? His
own executive chief and vice chief lied to him and asked him to
spread that lie to the United Nations. Pretty clear to me.

I love the Republican’s “Obama is the most liberal EVAAAR” response to this. So what?

I would agree with that. It doesn’t matter, this is already old news and the pundits have moved on to cover for Biden’s problem that Obama is not experienced enough to be president!

Only one person knows for sure…and it’s not Limbaugh.
Powell claims that he’s not happy with the “rightward shift” of the Republican party. But is there any merit in his accusation???

He was in 2007, according to the National Journal:

Obama ranks as the magazine's most liberal senator of 2007, his ranking was 16th in 2005 and 10th in 2006.

And we're not happy about Bush's socialization of the banks, either. The fact that Bush is not as conservative as we had thought and hoped does not mean that Obama is not as socialist as we think and fear.

Powell’s endorsement of Obama does not verify Obama’s judgement, but rather brings Powell’s judgement into question. Powell says that Obama is ready to lead … WHY? … Regardless of Powell’s last minute endorsement, Obama is still the most liberal senator in congress … who accomplished nothing in his meager 3 years in office, except voting present 160 times, and campaigning for President, as well as associating with anti-American racists and domestic terrorists … giving good speeches … and, taking America down the road to socialism. I used to respect Colin Powell … but, now that’s history!!!
