NCDC Party for Change

The Norfolk City Democratic Committee held a Party for Change Saturday evening. The featured guest was our next Senator, Mark Warner.

Among those in attendance were Congressman Bobby Scott, 2nd CD candidate Glenn Nye, 2009 gubernatorial candidate Sen. Creigh Deeds, 2009 LG candidate Jody Wagner, Sen Ralph Northam and his lovely wife, Pam, Delegate Lionell Spruill, Sr., Delegate Paula Miller and her husband, Clerk of Court George Schaeffer, Delegate Bobby Mathieson, Norfolk Mayor Paul Fraim, Norfolk Council member Randy Wright, who brought with him a member of council in our sister city of Norfolk, England, and city attorney candidate Greg Underwood.

The number of elected Democrats and Democratic candidates for office were far outnumbered by the number of folks who showed up at The Pagoda, a restaurant located in a wonderful oriental garden. Unfortunately, it was much too chilly to be outside but it the heat of energy could hardly be missed inside. Folks are definitely fired up for the upcoming elections!

Here are a few photos from the event. As always, click to enlarge.

About Vivian J. Paige

A former candidate, I've learned a lot about politics, both good and bad. I'd prefer more of the former and a lot less of the latter and I'm trying to do my part!
