OTR 10/26: VB mayoral candidates

OTR Logo This Sunday’s On the Record will feature the four candidates for mayor in Virginia Beach, the Commonwealth’s most populous city: 4-term incumbent Meyera Oberndorf, former Vice Mayor Will Sessoms, Taxpayer Alliance President John Moss and former Navy Seal Scott Taylor. According to the press release:

…the four will debate whether too much money is spent at the Oceanfront, the future of City Manager Jim Spore and whether the city needs a new direction.

Catch OTR at noon on WVEC. If you miss the airing, it will be available on the website on Monday.

And if you haven’t seen it yet, catch “Virginia Votes 2008″ on Cox channel 11 at 8pm Sunday. The program is co-hosted by OTR host Joel Rubin and his son, Dan, of News Channel 3. The two look at the key federal and local elections this November as well as a look ahead to the Governor’s race in 2009. If you miss this airing, it will be repeated on November 2.
