Election Day November 4, 2008

voteartistic.jpgThere’s not much left to be said. The only thing left to do is get out and vote!

History will be made today. There is no doubt about that. Regardless of your political persuasion, we will be witnesses to a first. Interest in this election is so high that we are looking at record turnout numbers. That is a good thing.

And don’t forget to vote downticket. The Congressional candidates need your vote. The local candidates need your vote. These folks have put themselves out there, logging countless hours, wearing out their shoes, taking the abuse from their opponents – all because they want to serve us. They deserve our support.

Check back often for my updates from NPR later this evening. I’ll be watching races all over the country.

And please, get out and vote!

About Vivian J. Paige

A former candidate, I've learned a lot about politics, both good and bad. I'd prefer more of the former and a lot less of the latter and I'm trying to do my part!
