Don Young was also elected. In fact, of the big pork crowd Stevens is the exception: almost all of them got reelected.

Sincerely, I’m torn. I do a great Sarah Palin impression, but I don’t want her being in charge of moose hunting expedition, let alone the gov’t, except I’d love to run into her in DC. Gah.

So, no Senate seat for Palin this round, eh? Darn, and I was so looking forward to her being involved in national politics. The floor speeches alone would have been riveting!
