You would have thought that, with a helicopter, Knight would have an easier time getting to the forum. Apparently not.

Y’know, I couldn’t really decide which city to register my helicopter in, either. It’s a tough choice.

Oh, wait, I don’t have a helicopter.

The fact that it is a small “d” would make me think he’s running without Party support, at least officially. Anyways, I’m still backing Sheriff Lanteigne (can’t vote in the 81st, though, so it doesn’t really matter).

I saw this guy at the VBTA candidates forum. He has alot of energy and passion, and I am psyched that I get to vote for a democrat in the 81st! I thought for sure I’d have to choose between repub and “repub-light”.
On his site it appears he talks a lot about bipartisan solutions and reaching across party aisles. Maybe thats what the small “d” represents – people before party. I’m not sure, but for a dem to win in the 81st they probably have to think that way!

I noticed that the story BD linked here says that he was at the VBTA candidates' forum. I was introduced to another potential candidate last week at Spruill's event. Haven't heard anything since then, though.

Interesting. I’ve been looking for Democratic candidates for the 81st, but there doesn’t seem to be any on my radar. I haven’t a clue what’s up with the D in small quotes, but it would be interesting to find out.
