OTR 11/30: Ship to FL, charities

OTR Logo This Sunday’s On the Record will feature a discussion about the possible location of the Navy’s latest nuclear carrier in Jacksonville as opposed to Norfolk. Joining host Joel Rubin will be Frank Roberts, who heads the Hampton Roads Military and Facilities Alliance, and Mal Branch, a former carrier commanding officer who now runs the Virginia Ship Repair Association.

Also on tap are representatives from two leading charities who are collecting food and money for the needy, Linda Vaughan of Union Mission and Capt. Lewis Reckline of the Salvation Army.

Catch OTR at noon on WVEC. If you miss the airing, it will be available on the website on Monday.

About Vivian J. Paige
