DFA Campaign training in Newport News

Democracy for America will be holding campaign training in Newport News on March 14 and 15.  From an email I received:

DFA Campaign Academy trainings exist to empower citizens with the tools to change their communities.  Whether you are working to pressure your elected officials to pass a progressive agenda or planning to unseat them, the DFA Campaign Academy will help you make it happen.

[...]

These trainings are more than just academic exercises. We bring together dozens of progressive activists from across the region along with current (and future) candidates and elected officials. It’s a great chance to re-connect with friends from the last campaign, look for a new job or find a volunteer opportunity.

Space is limited. RSVP today so you don’t miss out!

You can sign up for the training here.

About Vivian J. Paige

A former candidate, I've learned a lot about politics, both good and bad. I'd prefer more of the former and a lot less of the latter and I'm trying to do my part!

  1. Thanks for putting this up Viv, you are the best.
I have tried for 5 years to get this training in our part of Virginia.
Right after the election Jim Dean, the DFA chair, called me and said we had the training because Va. is such an important state. I told him that years ago. The fact that we have elections this year helped too.
    Hope to see you there.
