Norfolk CA special election results

Hmm – it’s 7:07pm, the polls are closed. There is no link on the State Board of Elections website nor is the Norfolk Electoral Board website link live. This special election pits Democrat Greg Underwood against Republican John Coggeshall for the opportunity to serve the remaining term of Jack Doyle, who was elevated to a judgeship. Hopefully, one of the two sites (if not both) will have information soon.

UPDATE 8:14pm: Underwood – 2659, Coggeshall – 2023

UPDATE 8:19pm: Underwood – 3912, Coggeshall – 3147 Looks like all precincts are in.  Congratulations to Greg Underwood!

A former candidate, I've learned a lot about politics, both good and bad. I'd prefer more of the former and a lot less of the latter and I'm trying to do my part!

  1. Underwood Wins

Congrats to the Norfolk Democratic City Committee. I know they worked hard to hold onto this seat in the expected small turnout.

  2. Kudos to Diane and the Norfolk Committee for their hard work. Also to Gaylene who with her Hampton Dem Committee did phone banking and lots more.
