BREAKING: Edmonson files for House of Delegates

Word has reached me that Pat Edmonson, who has been running for LG, has filed to run in the 82nd House District. This will mean a primary in the 82nd since Peter Schmidt also filed this afternoon.

The 82nd is currently represented by Republican Bob Purkey.

More as it becomes available.

UPDATE 04/11, 2:17pm: Just got the official announcement from the Edmonson campaign. She is throwing her support behind Mike Signer.  Check out this post for another take on the campaign.

A former candidate, I've learned a lot about politics, both good and bad. I'd prefer more of the former and a lot less of the latter and I'm trying to do my part!

  1. So, one less Lt Gov candidate? Guess this will become a predominantly Wagner-Signer race.

  4. If Pat Edmonson is endorsing Signer, isn’t this equivalent to a kiss of death?
