Friday afternoon: Something’s gotta give

Only as Ella can do it (the song starts at about the 2:25 mark)

Something’s gotta give: either move the tax season filing deadline or move Easter. Right now, I’m not sure I care which one.

Move the filing deadline to the day before election day.

But, Vivian, Easter moves every year! Based on something to do with the full moon.

However, move the tax filing deadline to after Easter, say to early May because Easter is never ever in May. Buy leftover Easter candy the day after Easter to get you through tax filing. :)

Yeah, but Easter always falls during tax season. And with Easter comes a week’s vacation for folks I need to talk to.

I say the tax filing deadline should be mid-June. And no extensions.

As for the Easter candy – I’m on it ;)

Howzabout I trade you your tax filing season for my partnership tax professor paper writing season (the joys of research assisting)? 1 row of peeps (traditional yellow bird shaped ones, I don’t do this colored rabbit nonsense) included.
