Jody’s First Ad

LG candidate Jody Wagner has started to run ads in Hampton Roads, Charlottesville and Richmond. Here is her first ad (HR/CV version).

About Vivian J. Paige

A former candidate, I've learned a lot about politics, both good and bad. I'd prefer more of the former and a lot less of the latter and I'm trying to do my part!

  1. Virginia Beach Democrats are hurting the entire state!
Jody says ‘vote for me’ because these old out of touch white guys in Richmond smoke filled rooms tell you to. Yeah, okay.

So VB gives us an LG candidate who will be slaughtered by Bill Bolling. Then, they give us two 1st term Democrats in the House who will lose this year, killing our chances of a Democratic takeover in the House. See this, [link removed - vjp] one of them can’t even spell his own name on his website.

    Losers

  2. I’m glad it’s not just the Republicans who eat their own.

  3. If you must remove the link, then I’d encourage people to visit http://www.bobby21.com. There you can see the VB Democratic Delegate Bobby Mathieson can’t even spell his own name.

You can also google “Bobby Matheison” and coke or cocaine to see the story. What a disgrace.

    • Seriously – you think Mathieson did his own website? And the only one buying that story about cocaine is the person writing it.

      • I’m sure he didn’t do his own site. Still, there is something to be said about the fact that he allowed the site to remain for over a year with misspellings of his own name. I think one could assume he and his staff are incompetent to not have discovered such a ridiculous error. They should be called out for it.

  4. Effective commercial. I like it when a candidate points to their positives.

I’m still rooting for Bill Bolling, but objectively, she would have the best chance on the Democrat side.

If you’re gonna slam Virginia Beach for candidates, I offer Bob McDonnell. A lot of us are hoping Criegh Deeds gets the nomination. You’d see a lot of crossover voting in that case.

  5. I find it difficult to believe the nominee will be a person who could not make a decision and cast votes in very important primaries. A person who lacks empathy for people who do not have her life. I don’t believe you have to be poor or disabled in order to be empathetic, but you do have to have that part of your brain operating. This is a person who believes that gay people should have SOME rights, I wonder which ones she would let us have? Wanger believes that being an anti-union state is just swell. This nomination will not be good for the Democrats. Sarah, don’t you have a convention to attend today?
