8.  He’ll fix this %&$^@# transportation mess (yes, I was on 95,64 and 264 during the Memorial Day weekend).

7.  He’s been to Martinsville more times recently than I have.

6.  His only Whoppers have come from Burger King.

5.  Knows the best place to get a Blizzard after coming out of the Great Dismal Swamp.

4.  His kids love Breaks Park.

3.  He’s green, and not just on St. Patrick’s Day.

  1. He’d have puncher’s chance on November 3. It doesn’t look, right now, like he’s going to be on the ballot on Nov. 3.

  2. Sen. Deeds won the latest PPP poll fwiw. He still seems to me to be the strongest Dem in November.

  4. But the momentum over the last week clearly favors Deeds. Unless something happens to break that momentum between now and Election Day, I don’t see why he won’t win.

  5. If the poll is to be believed (and really, the only poll that matters is the one on 6/9), then Deeds is getting his votes from McAuliffe. With Brian running strong in NoVA, and NoVA accounting for a (IMHO, far too) large share of the primary voters, Moran can pull it off.
