I started this blog to talk about local politics, specifically Norfolk politics. It is impossible
to talk about Norfolk in a vacuum, so you'll also find some regional, state, and national politics. And sometimes, no politics at all.
The inspiration for this blog comes from one of Virginia's most respected forefathers:
"I know no safe depositary of the ultimate powers of the society but the people themselves; and if we think them not enlightened enough to exercise their control with a wholesome discretion, the remedy is not to take it from them, but to inform their discretion by education. This is the true corrective of abuses of constitutional power."
Thomas Jefferson, 1820

Why did Moran even bother to go on that show? I mean the answer is obvious, but really? He didn’t even talk about Virginia except in relation to Obama. They didn’t discuss any details of the race, nothing on policy, nothing on the issues. Mathews just tried to drive a wedge between him and Clinton. A huge waste of 5 minutes if you ask me.
Deeds by 10 points….
