Jaded JD on Cuccinelli’s Court of Appeals plan

The Jaded JD has a thorough, if complicated, post up about the plan of Republican AG candidate Ken Cuccinelli to expand the appellate division of the Virginia Court of Appeals.

In other words, Cuccinelli has his own “No Car Tax” plan—a proposal that will sound good to most people (who won’t bother trying to understand the details) and really do more harm than good.

Written for non-lawyers, the post explains the issue in depth and the implications of it. It’s worth a read – more than one, actually.

A former candidate, I've learned a lot about politics, both good and bad. I'd prefer more of the former and a lot less of the latter and I'm trying to do my part!

One Response to “Jaded JD on Cuccinelli’s Court of Appeals plan”

  1. Gee, another republican, making a promise, he has no intention of keeping, running for public office! Who’d of guessed? I still have a car tax, and in fact, its gone up! I’m hoping the voters have learned that anytime a republican is making a promise, its not to be trusted! When will Virginian’s learn?
