1st gubernatorial debate to be available online

The Virginia Bar Association hosts the first debate between gubernatorial candidates Creigh Deeds and Bob McDonnell on July 25 at The Homestead. For the first time, the debate will be broadcast via live web streaming A new website has been set up to accomodate this – Virginia Talks. According to PilotOnline, this came about as the result of a deal with Style Weekly, a Richmond alternative newspaper which is owned by the same company that owns The Virginian-Pilot.

I’m glad that the debate will be available to the rest of us and, according to the new website, will be interactive. Go ahead and bookmark the site now and put Saturday, July 25 at 11am on your calendar ;)

About Vivian J. Paige

A former candidate, I've learned a lot about politics, both good and bad. I'd prefer more of the former and a lot less of the latter and I'm trying to do my part!
