Sen. Ted Kennedy makes surprise appearance
I was there. After the tribute was shown, the Senator made his appearance. I can’t tell you in words what it felt like: the tremendous adoration and respect for him was palpable.

I was watching on the big screens in the Big Tent. You could have heard a pin drop in there.
Several people, including myself, shed a tear, knowing that his time was limited and knowing how much it took for him to be there.
I will never forget that night.
