This Wednesday, the Lynnhaven River NOW candidates’ forum will feature candidates from the three contested General Assembly races:
- 21st – incumbent Democrat Bobby Mathieson versus Republican challenger Ron Villaneuva
- 82nd – incumbent Republican Bob Purkey versus Democratic challenger Peter Schmidt
- 83rd – incumbent Democrat Joe Bouchard versus Republican challenger Chris Stolle
The forum is designed to discuss environmental issues and will be moderated by a panel of three. My understanding is that the first half of the debate will be questions from the panel and the second half will be from the audience. The event is open to the public.
