More RSLC money for Chris Stolle

Friday, the Virginia Public Access Project recorded another $160,000 contribution from the Republican State Leadership Committee to 83rd House district challenger Chris Stolle. This brings the total contributed to Stolle by the RSLC to almost $250,000.

Still think the RSLC isn’t trying to buy this seat? No other candidate has received this much money from the RSLC. By my calculations, about 69% of the donations to Stolle that we know of have come from the RSLC. And their contributions to him are 28% of the total they have distributed this year. Only the RPV has received more money than Stolle, who, by the way, is the only House candidate to receive any money from the RSLC.

Joe BouchardI’ll say it again: All of Virginia should be proud to have Joe Bouchard in the legislature.

He’s served his country, now he’s serving Virginia.

Help out Joe. Don’t let the RSLC buy this seat. Donate today.

A former candidate, I've learned a lot about politics, both good and bad. I'd prefer more of the former and a lot less of the latter and I'm trying to do my part!

  1. Chris Stolle served his country also and would also do well to serve Virginia. Voters are lucky to be able to choose between two tremendously qualified candidates.

  2. That is just asinine to me. If these two were forced to debate several dozen times over the course of the campaign, then maybe you wouldn’t need to spend that much money to win. My bet is that someone who is getting all that money to do mail has a friend or two at state that is helping get all this money. If you need to spend more than 50 grand to win, then you don’t deserve to be delegate. Obviously in the more rural areas you need way more money, but I can walk across the 83rd in a couple of hours.
