The President should come down to Hampton Roads and help out Deeds. It would be a great plus.

It would be a bad decision for Obama to come and campaign for Deeds. Obama’s image has taken a beating lately (Olympics, failure to talk with McChrystal, health care headache, etc.). To be seen with a candidate who seems to be headed on a downward trajectory would be an AWFUL move. He should not spend his “political capital” on the Deeds campaign.

Folks need to accept the fact that, barring an implosion, Bob is going to be the next Governor. The Obama win may have been the best thing to happen to Virginia’s Republicans.

I was at the Harvest Fest on the Eastern Shore. Incumbent Delegate Lewis was there, no Deeds lit, no Deeds signs. Tim Kaine was there for quite some time; no Deeds sticker on, no one with him that brought anything for Deeds.
