It was “Idol Gives Back” night on American Idol. And the show gave back in more ways than one 
A star-studded show, lasting nearly two and a half hours, featured the various causes for which money was raised to support. Near the end, Simon Cowell announced that up to tonight, nearly $15 million had been raised. The list of performers lending their names is much too long for me to try to remember. Kudos to those who participated and who contributed to help others.
But, of course, the real reason for Wednesday’s show was the results. Last night, the contestants were supposed to sing inspirational songs. Mentored by Alicia Keys, few of the song choices were what I’d call inspirational. Some were boring and downright weird choices.
The bottom three consisted of kid Aaron, cutie Casey and terrible Tim. Thankfully, not even Vote for the Worst could save Tim another week.
Buh bye 
I taped the show and viewed Tim’s performance right after Crystal’s. He wasn’t even on the same planet as she, he should feel fortunate he lasted as long as he did.
