Municipal elections were held throughout Hampton Roads yesterday. Some results were expected, but in every city, there were surprises.

Local elections are being held across Hampton Roads tomorrow. The polls are open from 6am to 7pm. The Virginian-Pilot has put together a voter guide for Southside while The Daily Press has done the same for the Peninsula.
