Redskins 42, Bills 17

Yes, it was just a preseason game. But it sure felt good to watch – and cheer -  the Washington Redskins as they defeated the Buffalo Bills.

I actually missed the start of the game. When I turned on the TV, the Skins were down 0-3. That didn’t last, as they went on to score 35 unanswered points. Late in the game, the third string ‘Skins (new coach Mike Shanahan called them the 5th stringers in his press conference after the game) were outperformed by the third string Bills. No matter – as most of those guys won’t make the roster.

I’m already looking forward to next Saturday’s game against the Ravens. Let’s see if the team can build some momentum.

  1. If you want to know anything about Shanahan, I studied him for years as the Bronco’s coach.

    Time for a football party!

  2. Yeah, it was just preseason but they looked pretty awesome.
With the exception of “Fat Albert” Haynesworth waddling down the field, I like what I see. The big test will be the 9/12 game against Dallas.
