Open democracy for $18, Alex

The answer: $18.

The question: What does one day’s video of the General Assembly cost?

As per Waldo, Richmond Sunlight doesn’t have any video of the 2010 General Assembly session. (Why the GA doesn’t put the video on their site is another whole question.) And the all-volunteer Richmond Sunlight has no budget to buy them. So if you are so inclined, head on over and chip in $18 for one day’s videos.

For all that Richmond Sunlight has done to open the process, you’d think the General Assembly would provide these for free.

  1. That would make too much sense for this year’s General Assembly.

  2. We just hit the goal—there’s enough to buy the whole session now! That all took just under 46 hours, which is amazing. Thanks so much for your help with this, Vivian.
