Blogoversary: Five years old

Have to admit I almost missed this today. It’s been five years since I made the first post on this blog.  I guess time flies when you’re having fun – or something.

If someone hadn’t reminded me, I wouldn’t have remembered. (I forgot last year but remembered two years ago.)  What was I thinking – starting a blog during tax season?

I do know what I was thinking and why I did it. And, despite everything, I’m glad I did. I’ve met some wonderful people over the past five years, people I doubt I would have met otherwise. And I’ve learned a lot in the process.

Thanks to all who participate, particularly the new contributors, but especially the readers and those who take the time to comment.

About Vivian J. Paige

A former candidate, I've learned a lot about politics, both good and bad. I'd prefer more of the former and a lot less of the latter and I'm trying to do my part!

  1. Congratulations!

During this five-year effort, your tenacity and talent have made life in Virginia better than it would have been, otherwise. More political bloggers should learn from your example.
