Nelson County’s Connie Brennan to run in 59th District

Connie Brennan

Connie Brennan, long-time activist, school board member and Supervisor from Nelson County, has announced she will start a campaign on July 5th to become the Delegate for the vacant 59th District. She also ran for the same numbered district in 2007, although this year’s redistricting changed a lot of districts, including the 59th.

This is new enough that I don’t have a web address for Connie yet. I am sure that will change a week from now.

I worked for Connie as a volunteer back in 2007. I will be watching this race closely. While not a slam dunk, this district turned out in 2007, and Connie out-raised her opponent.
