Protect the vote rally Tuesday

The Virginia Legislative Black Caucus is holding a rally Tuesday morning, January 31, to demonstrate the opposition to some of the bills that have been introduced that would reduce the right to vote. Civil Rights leader Dr. Benjamin Chavis will be there, along with U.S. Rep. Bobby Scott and Richmond mayor Dwight Jones.

Participants are asked to gather at the Bell Tower in the southwest corner of Capitol Square (Ninth & Franklin Streets) at 9 am. More details are on the flyer – click to enlarge.

A former candidate, I've learned a lot about politics, both good and bad. I'd prefer more of the former and a lot less of the latter and I'm trying to do my part!

  1. There used to be a clock like that at the Little Creek Naval Station sailboat rental.
