My friend, Del. Lionell Spruill, Sr., spoke on the floor of the House of Delegates yesterday against the invasive ultrasound bill.
Thank you, Delegate, for speaking up for the rights of women.
And I guess all this attention to Virginia is starting to have an effect on the bill. According to this article and others, there appears to be some effort to change the bill. I can’t believe the idiots didn’t realize that determining the age of the fetus would require a transvaginal ultrasound in many cases.
All the more reason why lawmakers need to stay the hell out of medical decisions. That’s what we have doctors for.
I agree Vivian, I don’t want my abuser, incestor, pharmacist, preacher or elected representative doing my family planning. Government has no business monitoring what goes on in my reproductive organs.
