A little different quiz today. From the Wall Street Journal comes this interactive quiz, which tests your grammar. While it’s all in good fun here, the accompanying article points out that it really isn’t funny:
Managers are fighting an epidemic of grammar gaffes in the workplace. Many of them attribute slipping skills to the informality of email, texting and Twitter where slang and shortcuts are common. Such looseness with language can create bad impressions with clients, ruin marketing materials and cause communications errors, many managers say.
So, head over and take the quiz. I got 21 of the 22 questions right. Not bad
