Foodbank needs our help

According to an article in this morning’s paper, the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia is in need of donations. The summer presents a challenge for the organization: fewer food drives means fewer donations, but with the kids out of school for the summer, the need increases.

I’m writing a check today, because the Foodbank can buy more with my money than I can buy with my money. I urge others to do the same. But if you want to donate food, here is the list of year-round drop off sites.

If you are not in Hampton Roads, I’m sure your local Foodbank is in a similar pinch. Please consider making a donation.
